In this section, we will add releases information on Tanzu Platform for Cloud Foundry, Tanzu Data Solutions, and Tanzu Spring Essentials Products that are part of Tanzu Platform and Standalone solutions along with its release date and release notes. VMware Tanzu Data Solutions
VMware Tanzu RabbitMQ 4.0
- RabbitMQ 4.0.9 is a maintenance release in the 4.0.x
- Tanzu RabbitMQ OVA v4.0 is the latest major commercial release. Tanzu RabbitMQ OVA v4.0.9 is its latest patch. It includes the open-source RabbitMQ v4.0.9 package.

- Tanzu RabbitMQ v4.0.9 has a patched version of otp for CVE-2025-30211.
- This version has a smaller runtime build, having excluded a vulnerable dependency that RabbitMQ does not use.
- It is now possible to require authentication for the HTTP API reference page
- Fixed: Federation status command and HTTP API endpoint could run into an exception.
VMware Tanzu RabbitMQ 4.1
- Open-source RabbitMQ v4.1 is a new feature release.
- Warm Standby Replication and Schema Definition Sync connections now support x.509 certificate-based authentication.
- Initial Support for AMQP 1.0 Filter Expressions
- rabbitmqadmin v2 is a major revision of the original CLI client for the RabbitMQ HTTP API.
- Initial AMQP 0-9-1 Maximum Frame Size
- Before a client connection can negotiate a maximum frame size (frame_max), it must authenticate successfully.
- The default MQTT Maximum Packet Size changed from 256 MiB to 16 MiB.

VMware Tanzu Operations Manager (OpsMan)
BOSH Director for Azure indicating stemcell out of date after trying to upgrade Ops Manager – The stemcell version that is currently assigned to the Bosh Director does not satisfy the minimum version requirement.
VMware Tanzu Application Service (TAS)
Dynamic Application Security Groups not being enforced – This is related to dynamic ASGs having a race condition between policy-server-asg-syncer and Cloud Controller API (CAPI).
BBR backup for the TAS deployment is failing with error “NoSuchKey: The specified key does not exist” – This is due to corruption of the blobstore cache of one of the application.
VMware Tanzu Kubernetes Grid Integrated Edition (TKGI)
Kubelet post-start script fails during cluster TKGi cluster upgrade, invalid UUID length – This can happen if there are storage problems at the time the node is created and containerd can’t write to the uuid file.
